Meta Launching Paid Verification System for Facebook and Instagram
Shortly after Twitter announced their paid verification system, Meta has announced the same for Facebook and Instagram profiles with a fee of $12/month or $15/month if you pay with your iPhone.

So what does the verification provide?
1/ Mark Zuckerberg claims that the verification will create extra protection against impersonators (hopefully no more crypto scams).
2/ Those paying the $12/month will have direct access to customer support.
3/ A badge next to your business / profile name on Facebook and Instagram.
This decision has been met with a lot of controversy, but is it worth it? While paying for verification isn’t ideal, verification on social media sites has been almost impossible.
As impersonators ramp up for even the smallest of profiles, verified profiles are needed more than ever. In the past, most people resorted to paying “verification companies” thousands of dollars for a verification badge or having someone inside the company with a hookup. Is it worth it for your business? Only you can decide that.

How did you get started coaching?
Coaching was something that other people for years told me that I should do because of how motivating and encouraging I was. However, as a full time criminal defense attorney who loved her job, I didn't have the time or energy to look into that. But, the COVID pandemic, the shutting down of the world, and getting to work from home gave me more than enough time on my hands. So, the thoughts came back to me, I started looking into it, found a coaching program, and before I was halfway through the first video, I was hooked!
What have been some of the best learning experiences so far as a coach?
Being willing to continue to learn, grow, and pivot. Understanding that what worked before might not work now and that what didn't work in the past might just work now.
What's your most important skill you've learned for coaching?
Advocating and promoting individuality. Through listening to the client and then from there making suggestions as to what will work for the client, not what "everyone" should do or what "I" would do.
What makes a good coach in your opinion?
Someone who is willing to not only listen to the client but to learn from the client. Not pushing my thoughts and beliefs on them, promoting individuality and suggestions for improvements based on what they specifically are looking for as the end result. Taking time to reverse engineer a plan to get them where they are looking to go based on where they are currently.
What are some attributes and skills you're looking to achieve this year?
I want to continue to learn, to grow my business and make an impact. I'm looking to speak and present more this year as well as become a published author of some physical products!
What advice would you have for other coaches getting started?
Start! And in starting, start first with what you know and then get clear on what you don't know or what to know then seek out the personal development in that area. Most importantly: never stop learning and never stop growing!
